Travel information
We recommend travel by public transport. The Docklands Light (DLR) railway provides fast, frequent services every day of the week from Central London, Canary Wharf and Lewisham to Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich station.
It connects with London Underground and mainline services at Bank, Tower Gateway, Canary Wharf, Stratford, Greenwich and Lewisham.
South Eastern Trains mainline services to Greenwich run from Charring Cross, Waterloo East, Cannon Street and London Bridge.
Travelcards are valid on the DLR and provide a discount on the regular riverboat services to Greenwich from Westminster, Waterloo, Embankment and Tower Piers. A combined rail and river ticket is also available from DLR stations and most piers.
To help plan your journey, we have a travel map for main routes and rail connections to Greenwich and a local map to see how to get here once you are in Greenwich.
