Over the past two years the Youth Advisory Group has planned and run events for young people at the National Maritime Museum, taken part in film-making workshops, had hands-on experience with historical objects, and worked with artists, dancers, musicians and designers to learn new skills and share with other young people. Identity as a journey
Museums are not always thought of as exciting places for young people. Shola, Franklyn, Melissa and Lucia set out to change this and to investigate questions of identity in contemporary Britain.
World Heritage Site soundscape
As part of the Young Cultural Ambassadors taster day in 2009, 50 young people aged 13-24 spent a day participating in creative activities around Greenwich.
This Trinity College of Music workshop used sound recordings to create a soundscape of the World Heritage Site.
