The following assignment activities have been designed to support either the 'teaching and learning' or the 'assessment' needs of students studying marketing or customer service at different levels.

'Teaching and learning' assignments: marketing

These online investigation activities are designed to help students access the wealth of information provided by our main web site and unit notes.

To help students there is a 'start looking in...' box that contains active links to the relevant web pages or section of the unit notes. A brief description of the location of these pages is also provided to help students working from hard copies of the investigation sheets.

The assignments can be used as stand-alone classroom resources, but ideally they should be supported with a visit or a video conference session at the Museum.

'Assessment' assignments: customer service

These assignments are designed to support teachers’ assessment needs at AVCE level, but could be adapted for use with GCSE Leisure and tourism.

The assignments have the same content, but relate to the NMM as either a tourist attraction or a heritage site.
