If we need to handle personal information about you in order to provide you with the services you require, or for the safe and secure operation of the Museum, we will do so in accordance with this Charter.

When we ask you for personal information, we undertake:

• to do so in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements;
• to make sure you know why we need it;
• to only ask for what we need, and not to collect too much or irrelevant information;
• to make sure we don’t keep it longer than necessary;
• to protect it and make sure nobody has access to it who shouldn’t;
• only to share it with other organizations when the law allows; and
• not to make your personal information available for commercial use without your permission.
