We offer a wide range of facilities for visiting schools including the award-winning Time Galleries, the interactive Weller Astronomy Galleries, the Lloyd’s Register Educational Trust Learning Centre and the Peter Harrison Planetarium.

What you can choose from on your visit
We offer three types of very flexible visit day: a Discovery Day, a Space Spectacular Day and a Study Day (secondary only).
Depending on the key stage and what you choose your visit can be made of: a planetarium show, an interactive workshop or science theatre show, a masterclass, a self-facilitated visit to the Weller Astronomy Galleries, a drama session in the Great Equatorial Telescope dome and a time-slot in the lunch room.

Outreach programme - NEW
The 2016/17 academic year sees the launch of our outreach programme. These sessions are very limited on only run on selected Thursdays through September and December so if you are interested please get in touch.
GCSE History - Restoration England 2018 Specified Site
The Royal Observatory Greenwich has been selected as the specified site for the Restoration England portion of the 2018 specification.
