What ingredients do you need to make a portrait?
In this lively, engaging session children explore different elements of portraiture on a quest through the galleries of the Queen’s House, to find a particular painting in which a missing fan belongs. Along the way, they have the opportunity to engage with the spectacular portraits in the Museum’s collection through sketching, posing and using handling objects.
Sessions are adapted to suit each Key Stage.
Thursdays I 10.15 I 12.30 (Autumn and spring terms only)
Sessions accommodate:
15 children and last one hour (Reception)
30 children and last 90 minutes (Key Stages 1 and 2)
