Story House (KS1)

Key Stage 1: Literacy

How do you get a King and Queen to become friends?

In this engaging story-building session, children are drawn in to a fantastic original tale of an unhappy King and Queen and royal court inspired by the beautiful setting of the Queen’s House. Through exploring handling objects and experimenting with language, children shape the story by generating ideas for how the King and Queen can become friends and live happily ever after. The session provides a unique opportunity to inspire your class to develop descriptive ‘story’ language and write creatively.

A free teachers’ resource pack is available with all booked Key Stage 1 sessions.
