February is LGBT History Month - a time when across the country we celebrate and reflect on LGBTQ+ lives throughout history. Importantly 2017 marks the 50th anniversary of the partial decriminalisation of male homosexuality. To mark this Royal Museums Greenwich will be running a season of events, activities, workshops and talks throughout February. Join us for an evening of speakers talking about gender in the armed forces, a family festival, arts and crafts workshops and much more!
We offer a range of astronomy courses tailored to the needs of individuals with differing levels of knowledge, from short introductory courses to one year courses for those keen to pursue their studies in more detail to two year courses for budding astrophysicists. Our students get to study in a unique environment supported by a range of equally unique resources, including expert tutors, a state of the art digital planetarium and the country’s largest lensed telescope.
For a great selection of gifts for stargazers, sea lovers and time aficionados look no further. There's something for all the family in the Royal Museums Greenwich online shop from classic watches to epic telescopes, books, maritime fashion and a great range of goodies for kids.
