The Great Equatorial Dome and some galleries will be closed between 11:30am and 3.45pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays until 24 August for daytime observation. Join the fun and see Venus in the daytime sky

See Venus during the day with our 18 tonne Victorian telescope.

Look at Venus through the Great Equatorial Telescope in the daytime to find out more about this beautiful planet and its place in our developing understanding of the scale of the universe.

In the event of cloudy weather, the talk will proceed as normal with unique footage of Venus taken through the telescope shown in place of observing.

Access to the Great Equatorial Dome and Time for Navy Gallery will limited to session particpants while the session takes place
