Leonardo Di Caprio fights for survival after being mauled by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team, in this Oscar winning performance.

Experience the danger, drama and challenge of surviving a voyage into the Arctic without having to leave London.

Step aboard the Cutty Sark to watch Leonardo Di Caprio’s Oscar winning performance surrounded by historic tea chests, in the safety of the Michael Edwards Studio Theatre in the Lower Hold.

Based on true events, The Revenant tells the tale of frontiersman Hugh Glass’ fight for survival after being mauled by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team.

The film will be introduced by Cutty Sark curator, Louise Macfarlane. Hear the stories of survival of our very own intrepid explorer Cutty Sark – she may never have been mauled by a bear and left for dead, but she’s had to fight for her survival on more than one occasion.
