Cinema style snacks and beverages will be on sale before the show. Film runtime 97 mins.

Enjoy screenings of vintage, cult and blockbuster sci-fi movies in our planetarium, followed by a short talk on the science behind the fiction by a Royal Observatory astronomer. A rescue team finds the spaceship they've been searching for that went missing seven years ago -  the Event Horizon. However, the simple search and recovery mission takes a terrifying turn as they find out more about where the ship and crew have been after activiating its experimental propulsion drive. Starring Sam Neill and Lawrence Fishburne. After the screening surrounded by the stars in London's only planetarium, a Royal Observatory Greenwich astronomer will talk about the reality behind faster than light travel. It may be stranger than you think (though somewhat less terrifying).
