Evenings and Lates

An informal storytelling evening with women sharing tales of their connection to the ocean. Hear from a wide range of women from London, who have worked with, lived by, travelled across or just love the ocean linked to us by the River Thames.

In celebration and support of the eXXpedition Round Britain 2017 all- female sailing crew being in town, join us for an engaging and informal get together at Cutty Sark to hear a variety of women tell their stories about their connection to the ocean.

Hear from the eXXpedition crew, women based in London and from around the UK sharing their professional and personal stories of high seas adventures, tales of working with or at sea, tales of childhood and tales of aspiration. Tales to inspire, thrill and inform. If you have a tale from the ocean, there will be a chance for you to take the mic, too!

Listen to sea stories from inside the historic hull of Cutty Sark to share the words of women of the water.

The talks will be aimed predominantly at students and adults, but all ages are welcome to attend.
