A very special introduction to the Museum, tailor-made for our youngest visitors. In these hands-on, multi-sensory taught sessions, children explore treasures of the Museum’s extraordinary collection through role-play, games, puzzles, riddles, and handling real objects. Choose from the following themes:
-
Night Lights: from twinkling stars to giant lighthouses – how do we find our way in the dark?
-
Treasures of the Sea: shells, pearls, silver, gold – what treasures are hiding deep beneath the waves?
-
Shape Spotters: look up high and down low, up the spiral staircase and through the arched doorways, how many different shapes are hiding in the Queen’s House?
- We’re going on a Monster Hunt: search for weird and wonderful creatures of the sea in this maritime adaptation of Michael Rosen’s classic Bear Hunt.
Free resource pack available with all booked Foundation Stage and Key Stage1 sessions.
