Overall, global warming will have both positive and negative effects. Having more carbon dioxide (a greenhouse gas) in the atmosphere could improve crop yields, but the changing climate is also likely to create water shortages in many areas, that may lead to droughts and even famines.
Warmer temperatures would melt some of the polar ice caps, causing sea levels to rise and increased flooding in many areas.
A warmer and wetter climate would also increase the risk of diseases like malaria and dysentry. Mosquitoes that can carry malaria are now being found in countries that would previously have been too cold for them, including Britain.
i dont think that global warming is a good thing even though some good things can comr out of it. it does bad damage to the environment and to animals which live there. the ice caps will melt and the sea levels will rise causing floods.

Unless all industrialised nations arrive at a consensus, do we see any solution?
