Nelson & Napoleon
This exhibition explored the lives and careers of two dominant leaders and adversaries, Horatio Nelson and Napoleon Bonaparte, and the political, social and cultural context of one of the most significant sea battles in history – the Battle of Trafalgar, marking its 200th anniversary in 2005.
See our Nelson and Napoleon feature, based on this exhibition.
The National Maritime Museum wishes to thank their partner maritime museum in France, the Musee National de la Marine, for their assistance in the organization of the exhibition 'Nelson & Napoleon'.
