Walking to Greenwich
The National Maritime Museum and Greenwich can be approached on foot from Greenwich and Maze Hill rail stations, from Greenwich and Cutty Sark DLR stations, and by local bus and river services.
Visitors can also explore Greenwich by walking sections of one of the long-distance walks that circle London. These lead between the unknown, curious and hidden attractions of the city as well as its parks, open spaces and heritage. The walks selected below all include Greenwich as a heritage attraction, and you can choose to do all or part of a walk using public transport.
