12 January 2015: Royal Museums Greenwich today announces that Insight Investment, the leading European investment manager, is to be the title sponsor for the Royal Observatory’s hugely popular competition, Insight Astronomy Photographer of the Year.
14 January 2015 – The Royal Observatory Greenwich, in association with Insight Investment and BBC Sky at Night Magazine, launches the 2015 Insight Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition – its annual global search for the most beautiful and spectacular visions of the cosmos, whether they are striking pictures of vast galaxies millions of light years away, or dramatic images of the night sky much closer to home.
The Queen’s House, 5 March-26 July 2015Press View Wednesday 4 March 09.00–12.00Unseen: The Lives of Looking presents acclaimed contemporary artist Dryden Goodwin’s first feature-length film, in the striking space of the 17th-century Queen’s House, alongside an exhibition of related drawings and artefacts.
