Travel across the Solar System and help Ted plan for a holiday on another planet.
The morning starts in our planetarium with our 20 minute Ted's Space Adventure show filled with spectacular views of the planets up close and a chance to sing along to help Ted find a new home for their friend plant.
Afterwards a 30 minute workshop takes place in one of our learning spaces to find out a little more about Ted’s adventure to the planets, to choose one that would make a good holiday destination and to help prepare our brave teddy bear for the trip and stay. Late-comers cannot be admitted to the planetarium while the show is in progress for health and safety reasons due to the dark environment.
There is time between the show and workshop to visit the bathroom, but it is recommended to bring any little food and drink supplies for the morning with you to have after the planetarium show. Our café will be open to refuel after the workshop.
PLEASE NOTE: The gates to the Royal Observatory Greenwich’s Astronomy Centre open at 10am. On arrival please proceed to the planetarium. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Late entry and re-entry into the planetarium is not permitted once the show is in progress. Please ensure you arrive by 10am to be allowed in the show.
