Tour the Solar System and beyond, and meet our next-door neighbours in space!

Vote with the audience on which planets to explore in depth, before moving beyond to explore neighbouring stars and galaxies far away in the depths of space.

Packed full of spectacular sights and fun facts, this interactive show will be presented live by an astronomer from the Royal Observatory.

Planetarium shows last up to 30 minutes.

Age: 5+

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Arriving at the Planetarium

The Planetarium is part of the Royal Observatory, located on a hill with spectacular views across London. Please allow enough time to get to us and aim to arrive at least 10 mins before a show’s start time, as latecomers cannot be admitted.

Please note that pushchairs are not allowed into the planetarium itself but there is a designated buggy park in the foyer.

The Planetarium is open daily, except for the first Wednesday of every month when it is closed for essential maintenance.
