About the storytellers

  • Daughter of a fortune-teller, granddaughter of a woman who returned from the dead, storyteller Olivia Armstrong is a weaver of tales, a mistress of enchantment who has been captivating audiences for over ten years. Everywhere from pubs to palaces, rivers to ruins, she tells wonder tales from around the world, myths and legends of the British Isles, and strange stories from the secret corners of the city.
  • Kate Corkery is a professional storyteller, teacher and writer, her role as Storyteller in Residence at the Irish Cultural Centre won a Fringe First Award in 2009. In recent years, Kate has toured far and wide internationally telling stories in Colombia, China, Russia, Chile and Mexico as well appearing in many European festivals, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, The Faroe Islands and Spain.
