"Ships that pass in the night, and speak each other in passing, Only a signal shown and a distant voice in the darkness; So on the ocean of life, we pass and speak one another, Only a look and a voice, then darkness again and a silence."Longfellow

Daughter of a fortune-teller, granddaughter of a woman who returned from the dead, storyteller Olivia Armstrong is a weaver of tales, a mistress of enchantment who has been captivating audiences for over ten years.

Everywhere from pubs to palaces, rivers to ruins, she tells wonder tales from around the world, myths and legends of the British Isles, and strange stories from the secret corners of the city.

This Hallowe’en, Olivia will be joined by Sally Pomme Clayton, who will be telling a dark and dangerous Russian fairytale about the witch Babayaga - scary, funny and mysterious. Come and meet the witch of all witches!

Get ready to be spooked and sparkled by seasonal folktales and folklore to shiver the timber with a selection of stories by Olivia Armstrong along with Sally, a pioneering storyteller and writer, and an associate artist at Omnibus Theatre. She brings fairytales, fragments of forgotten myths, folktales and epics to new life.
