Visitor notice: Cutty Sark will be closed on Sunday 1 March for the Vitality Big Half Marathon. The Park Row car park will also be closed to the public all weekend. On 29 February and 1 March access to the National Maritime Museum and Queen's House will be via the Romey Road or William Walk gates. Our other museum sites will be open as usual. Plan your visit

Join us for a proper Irish Ceili at the best Ceili venue in London

This St Patrick's day come and celebrate all things Irish with us - it doesn't matter if you hail from the Emerald Isle or not, we'll all be going green for this occassion.

Enjoy a dram of Irish whisky beneath the hull of the ship, in our most photogenic of spaces, before getting down to the best Ceili sounds around. This is a traditional form of Celtic dancing used to bring communities together, and we guarantee you'll make more than a few new friends at this fantastic bash.

Featuring one of London's best Ceilidh bands, The Ceilidh Tree who will ensure that no one gets left behind. Don't worry if you've never been to a ceilidh in your life, it's never too late to start.

Plus we will be joined by a troupe of Irish dancers from the Aimee-Leigh Irish Dance Academy, who will blow you away with a Riverdance-style performance. You won't beat our St Patrick's Day celebrations anywhere else in the capital.

Cutty Sark is renowned for being the best Ceili venue in London. Not only is the space beneath the suspended hull stunning, it's long and narrow shape is perfect for Ceili dancing.

We will welcome you in from 7pm - with the dancing kicking off promptly at 7.30pm. There will be three sets of dancing, with breaks for you to have a chance to catch your breath and get some refreshment from our well-stocked bar.
