Come join us for games, talks, planetarium shows and readings to see where science fact meets fiction.

Is interstellar travel possible? How alien are planets beyond our solar system? Is time travel truly possible? How far could humans venture and live beyond our protective Earth? These are some questions that we can answer on this night of interactive exploration of science fiction themes.

The evening will include:

  • Drop-in board games area
  • Science fiction readings
  • Short film screenings
  • Bespoke exoplanet planetarium show with impressionist Jon Culshaw and an astronomer
  • Astronomers Q&A

These activities will be coupled with shows and short talks that explore the real science behind the fiction that has captured our imaginations across the decades in film, television and literature.

Everyone who attends will be automatically entered into a competition to win a pair of tickets to a Silver Screen Science Fiction screening of their choice in London’s only Planetarium for the remainder of our 'Universe Unseen' Season (films include Predator and Fantastic Voyage, with more TBA).
