Still working on getting all your Christmas shopping done? As well as our wonderful online shop, there are shops in the National Maritime Museum, Royal Observatory, Cutty Sark and Astronomy Centre, full of handpicked museum gifts and unique ranges.

4. Admire the Cutty Sark Christmas tree

Your Christmas tree at home might be impressive, but is it on a 150-year-old tea clipper? Ours is.

5. Journey into space at the Royal Observatory Christmas Lecture

Friday 13 December | 6.45pm

The annual Royal Observatory Greenwich Christmas Lecture is coming up, and this year’s topic is a special one. As the 50th anniversary year of the Moon landing draws to a close, join Professor Ian Crawford as he examines the legacy of the Apollo missions.

6. Listen to beautiful music in a beautiful setting

14 December | 7pm

Enjoy the beautiful sounds of the Old Royal Naval College’s Chapel Choir, featuring music from Handel’s Messiah and J.S. Bach’s Christmas Oratorio. In the beautiful setting of the Old Royal Naval College, this will be a Christmas treat for the eyes and ears.
