Spanned by a soaring glass roof, the Great Map is a meeting of classical 18th-century grandeur and innovative modern architecture at the heart of the National Maritime Museum and is the ideal location for large wedding receptions located within easy reach of London.
The Museum is filled with inspirational stories of exploration, bravery and adventure at sea making it a truly unique venue for wedding receptions and a thrilling backdrop to your special day.
Old and new architecture meets dramatically on the Upper Deck, a remarkable space with high ceilings, which can be dressed in the style of your choice. The Upper Deck offers a modern, light and airy space, which can seat up to 550 for your wedding breakfast and can also accommodate a dance floor and DJ providing a single location for dinner and dancing.
Pre-dinner drinks can be enjoyed on the Ground Floor where your guests can view the Museum’s varied exhibits.
On warm evenings, guests can venture out to the colonnades on the south lawn with sweeping views of Greenwich Royal Park, the River Thames and Canary Wharf.
