Climb aboard Cutty Sark for one of our side-splitting live comedy evenings, where four excellent stand-ups will be performing.

Up next: 31 March 2024

See who's on the bill for our March show:

Sophie Duker – headlining

Image of comedian Sophie Duker wearing a yellow dress with her hair in two buns, on stage at Live at the Apollo

Sophie Duker is a comedian and writer whose favourite things include breaking hearts, taking names, and telling jokes with the confidence of a cis straight middle-class white man. Her Edinburgh Fringe show, Venus, saw her nominated for the Best Newcomer award and gained critical acclaim and five-star reviews, leading to a two-week sold-out run at Soho Theatre.

Sophie is a regular guest on Frankie Boyle’s New World Order (BBC2). She has appeared on Live at The Apollo (BBC2), Mock the Week (BBC2), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4), Hypothetical (Dave), and was the winner of the 13th series of Taskmaster (Channel 4). Other appearances include 8 Out of 10 Cats (E4) and Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club (ITV).

Roger O'Sullivan

A regional finalist of the BBC New Comedy Awards 2021, Roger's work has been featured on BBC One, BBC Three and BBC Radio 4. His mixture of one-liners and surreal stories has drawn comparisons to Dylan Moran and Mitch Hedberg.

"A comedic mind ripe with potential" - The Irish Examiner.

Daman Bamrah

A British-Sikh performer with raw wit, likability and heart, the in-demand Daman is known for his topical writing, acute observations and imaginative storytelling. His blend of carefully crafted jokes along with his signature charm has lead to him supporting some of the biggest names in the industry including Munya Chawawa, Ria Lina, Jamali Maddix, Babatunde Aleshe, Kae Kurd and Mo Gilligan. As seen on Captive Audience (Channel 4), The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan (Channel 4), BBC New Comedy Awards (BBC One) and BBC Asian Network Network Comedy Night (BBC Three).

Helen Bauer – headlining

Known for being a comedy powerhouse with an electric stage presence, Helen is one of the UK’s most exciting rising stand-up stars.

TV appearances include Live At The Apollo (BBC2), Stand Up For Live Comedy: BBC Presents (BBC 1 & 3), The Stand Up Sketch Show, Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled, and Hypothetical (Dave) amongst others. Helen also co-hosts the podcast Trusty Hogs with fellow comedian Catherine Bohart.

Daniel McKeon

Daniel McKeon is a regular fixture of the London comedy circuit. He's a laidback, self-effacing storyteller described as "Slick. Well-written" (The Stand) and "his comic-cheekiness is endearing" (Broadway Baby).

Micky Overman

Image of comedian Micky Overman, who has long brown hair and is standing in front of a red background

Micky Overman is an award-nominated comedian whose previous Edinburgh shows received critical acclaim. Her last hour, The Precipice, was one of the best-reviewed shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She has written for and acted in sketches for ITV2, Channel 4 and BBC3, and her social media content has received over 40 million views online.

Originally from the Netherlands, Micky's outsider perspective, quick wit, silly delivery and spot-on observations make her one of Britain's most exciting female voices. Praise for Micky Overman:

“Top-notch lines that wouldn’t be out of place in an A-lister’s Netflix special” - Chortle.

"A pin-sharp torrent of precision gags and delightfully silly one-liners" - The Observer.

“The energy of a head girl gone wild” - The List.
