Have you ever wondered how some of the amazing astrophotography images you see in our exhibition are captured? Here’s a chance to find out.

Join astronomers from the Royal Observatory as they discuss this year’s winners. Learn about astronomical phenomena, hear about the science of the stars and delve into the techniques used to capture our night sky.

After the lecture you'll have an opportunity to view the exhibition in a special out of hours private view.

Would you like to view from home?

We'll also be livestreaming the discussion from our astronomers. If you can't make it to Greenwich, join us via Zoom.
