Nikki Henderson is a professional yachtswoman.
In 2018, she became the youngest ever skipper to lead a team in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race at the age of 25. She made headlines when she travelled across the Atlantic with environmentalist Greta Thunberg.
In this online event, Nikki will be joined by Royal Museums Greenwich curator, and keen yachtsman, Jeremy Michell. The two will discuss contemporary and historical issues in sailing, including women at sea and the environmental footprint of sail versus other methods of transportation.
