Join Dr Megan Barford, Curator of Cartography at Royal Museums Greenwich, at The Prince Philip Maritime Collections Centre, as we explore our celestial globe collection.
While a terrestrial globe shows the position of the landmasses on Earth, celestial globes map the position of the stars. Royal Museums Greenwich has a wide collection of these globes, but many are not currently on public display. This behind the scenes tour at our Collections Centre will give you an opportunity to see these amazing objects.
