Daytime Venus Observing
Drop in to a tour of our 130-year-old Victorian-era Great Equatorial Telescope and get the chance to observe the planet Venus during the day!
Be introduced to the largest working refracting telescope still in use in the UK, presented by an astronomer from the Royal Observatory.
This free session will be running on select Friday afternoons through July and August in the Great Equatorial Telescope dome.
No need to book the session, just join in as part of your ticket to the Royal Observatory Greenwich. The talk will be repeated several times during the one-hour time slot. To book your visit to the Observatory click here.
