This family workshop will use the amazing Canaletto paintings of Venice as inspiration for our photography workshop along the Thames.
We will start the workshop with a tour of the Canaletto exhibition, discussing the paintings and talking about how we can take Canaletto’s ideas and apply them to our own photographs along the Thames. Participants will then learn how to use their cameras to take inspiring landscape photographs.
During the day we will cover focus, aperture, depth of field, and composition. After lunch, we’ll head out to the Thames and capture the views and life along the river using the new camera knowledge and Canaletto inspiration. Participants will be able to print out their favourite image from the day to take home and display.
Bring your own camera or rent one from SharpShots for £7 (please bring cash on the day or contact SharpShots directly).
