Grounds and colonnades

Located in the centre of picturesque Greenwich, our grounds provide spectacular and romantic film and photo opportunities. Stunning vistas of the Old Royal Naval College and the hills of Greenwich Park are offset by the iconic classical-style colonnades connecting the Queen’s House and the wings of the National Maritime Museum.

Looking down from the Royal Observatory affords a dramatically contrasting view, with the modern skyscrapers of Canary Wharf rising above the National Maritime Museum and Old Royal Naval College.

The grounds also contain a CAA-approved landing site for helicopters.
