Marriage Proposals at RMG

At our UNESCO World Heritage site in Greenwich it makes for a starry proposal. You can get down on one knee in the planetarium, on the Meridian Line that divides the east and west hemispheres, on the Cutty Sark or at the private setting of the Loggia in the Queens House. If all goes to plan you could even book your wedding here afterwards to create lasting memories of your life together.

Pick the right setting:

Cutty Sark

Book a private viewing of Cutty Sark after opening hours and head to the top deck where you can pop the question on the bow of the ship with views looking out over the Thames.

Queens House

The Queens House is a stunning art gallery steeped in history and intrigue, book a private tour of one of our collections and step out on to the loggia for a secluded moment to ask that special question.

Royal Observatory

With one foot in the east and one foot in the west have exlusive access to the Prime Meridian of the World with spectacular views over central London for you to request your partners hand in marriage.

Peter Harrison Planetarium (currently unavailable)

With an entire 132-seat venue to yourselves one of our astronomers will be on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly. With VIP access to a private planetarium show where you can propose under the stars.
