Plate
A crescent-shaped salad plate, white and printed on the edge with the blue Admiralty seal device (a foul anchor surrounded by the inscription 'SIGIL : OFFI : MAG : ADMIR : MAG : BR : &C' and surmounted by a Royal crown). This pattern of government issued china was used in Royal Navy wardrooms from 1955 to 1969. The maker's mark is printed on the base.
