Until summer 2025, there is a new visitor route at the National Maritime Museum while we carry out essential improvements to the Museum's roof. Most galleries will still be open as normal, and special exhibitions are currently free for all visitors. However, the Great Map and AHOY! will be closed for the duration of the works. October's item of the month is a humorous scrapbook created by members of the Duncan Term, who attended the Royal Naval College at Dartmouth from May 1928 to December 1931

It's filled with lots of illustrations and cartoons, and gives an insight into the lives and amusements of the cadets, who would have started their training at the age of 13.
