The Royal Observatory Greenwich’s Astronomy team has temporarily moved to the National Maritime Museum whilst we undergo an exciting regeneration project!
We’ll be running brand new digital sessions for Key Stages 2 and up from January 2026, as well as in-person Early Years and Key Stage 1 programming. A top-secret new in-person programme for KS2 and up will go live after Easter 2026, including the piloting of new SEND sessions.

Astronomy On-site Schools Programme
Bookings for our onsite schools programme for the 2026 Spring Term are now open! Take a look at our onsite programme to see what sessions we have on offer. All sessions will take place at the National Maritime Museum
Sessions for EYFS and Key Stage 1 are available for booking now.
Details of programming for Key Stage 2 and up will be available in early 2026.
Each Discovery Day will include a lunch space and a self-guided visit of the National Maritime Museum.
Cost: £100 per class (up to 30 children per class)

Expanded Digital Programme (nationwide)
Bring the Royal Observatory Greenwich Astronomers into your classroom, wherever you are in the UK. Our digital sessions are interactive, curriculum-linked, and led live by our expert astronomers and educators.
Cost:
Solo workshop with an astronomer (just your class): £70
Workshop Webinar with an astronomer (with other schools and classes): £15
Solo workshops can be held on Teams or Zoom, and Workshop Webinars are Zoom only.
