Looking south-east to the entrance of No. 1 Basin, Portsmouth Dockyard, from the passenger/vehicle ferry Viking Valiant (1975) in Portsmouth Harbour. Two unidentified Type 42 destroyers are berthed together alongside Victory Jetty. A Modified Girl class tug is at Sheer Jetty on the left and a Dog class tug is in the entrance to No. 1 Basin. The Victory in No. 2 Dry Dock has her fore topmasts and her fore and main yards sent down.
