Supermoon Photography Competition Terms and Conditions

The competition organiser is Royal Museums Greenwich. By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules. All entry instructions form part of the rules. 
The organisers reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions without notice.  
This promotion is open to UK residents aged 16 or over, excluding employees of the Promoters, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion. Proof of eligibility must be provided upon request. 
To enter the competition participants must share their photograph of a supermoon on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, tagging Royal Museums Greenwich, and using the hashtag #MySupermoon. 
The competition launches at 9am on Tuesday, 1 August and closes at 5pm on Tuesday, 5 September 2023. All entries must have been posted before 5pm on Tuesday, 5 September order to be entered into the competition. 
The prize comprises two copies copy of the Astronomy Photographer of the Year Collection 12, published in partnership with Collins, RRP £30. A copy will be awarded to two winners. The prize will be awarded on publication day in early September when it will be posted to the winner’s address provided as part of the pre-order shipment.  
The prize does not include anything other than that specifically mentioned above and there is no cash alternative. 
Internet access is required. Entrants must have a registered Twitter, Facebook or Instagram account to enter. No purchase necessary. 
Multiple duplicate entries, either from the same account or different accounts, will be disqualified. 
No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted from personal social media accounts. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions. 
Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. 
Two competition winners from the qualifying entries will be randomly selected at the close of the Promotion Period. The decision of the selection is final. 
The winner will be contacted via social media by 5pm on or before Thursday 7 September with details of the Prize. If the winner does not respond within 7 days to confirm receipt of the prize, then an alternate winner will be selected. 
By accepting the prize, the winner accepts that their name and further details will be shared with Royal Museums Greenwich in order to post the prize. 
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter. You are providing information to the Promoter and not to the social media platforms. 
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Royal Museums Greenwich excludes its liability for any loss, damage, injury, cost or expense suffered by you, whether directly or indirectly and howsoever caused, in connection with the competition and use of any prize. 
By submitting images to the Competition, each entrant confirms and warrants that: 
- they are the sole author of each entry and that it is their original work; 
- they own the copyright and any other intellectual property rights of each image; 
- they have the permission of anyone pictured in the image (or, where the image shows any persons under 18, the consent of their parent/guardian) for the usage rights required by Royal Museums Greenwich and will indemnify Royal Museums Greenwich against any claims made by any third parties in respect of such infringement; 
- they have not licensed or disposed of any rights in the image that would conflict with uses to be made by Royal Museums Greenwich; 
- they have received any necessary permissions from the owner(s) of objects included in submitted images for the usage rights required by Royal Museums Greenwich and will indemnify Royal Museums Greenwich against any claims made by any third parties in respect of such infringement. 
By entering the competition, you grant Royal Museums Greenwich a non-exclusive, irrevocable licence to share the image of their digital channels, including their website, social media channels, and email marketing. The organisers will make every reasonable effort to ensure that name credits are given to any photograph published in any medium.
