Join us this February Half Term for a fun, relaxed week of creativity at the National Maritime Museum!
Working alongside a professional artist-facilitator, and supported by the Youth Programmes Producer, you will experiment with different artistic mediums, exploring & making responses to 'self-portraiture'.
On the last day, you will work as a group to put on a temporary public display of your finished pieces, for visitors to the museum to enjoy! Lunch is provided each day.
You will have the opportunity to meet new people as well as gain valuable work experience for your CV and future progression.
This is a free offer to anyone aged 13-16 years, living or studying within the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
Please be aware, there is currently a waiting list in place for this activity.
When do the sessions run?
Workshops run 10.30am to 3pm daily (with plenty of rest/comfort breaks) from Monday 12 – Thursday 15 February. All lunches and snacks are provided.
What will you gain from this project?
This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded creative people, make new friends, learn new skills as well as gain valuable work experience for your CV and future progression.
Who can apply?
