Climb aboard Cutty Sark for one of our side-splitting live comedy evenings, where four excellent stand-ups will be performing.
Up next: 28 July
Here's who'll be taking to the stage for our July show:
Janine Harouni – headlining
Janine Harouni is a UK-based Lebanese-American comedian who is 'ready for her Netflix special’ (★★★★★ The Times). Selected as one of The Guardian's 'Ten Comedians to Watch in 2021', her critically acclaimed debut Edinburgh hour ‘Stand Up with Janine Harouni (Please Remain Seated)’ was nominated for the Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Fringe and recommended by critics at The New York Times. It sold out across the UK and US before being filmed as a special for Amazon Prime UK.
Janine stars in the ITV2 sitcom Buffering and can be seen as Carla in the DC Comic film The Batman (Warner Bros). She was a writer and performer for two seasons of ITV2's sketch series The Emily Atack Show. Other appearances include The Russell Howard Hour (Sky Max), Comedians Giving Lectures (Dave), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2) and The Now Show (BBC Radio 4).
She's just back from her world tour of her new show 'Man'oushe'.
Will Rowland
Will Rowland is a comedian, actor, and director. For his stand-up, Will has been a finalist in multiple comedy competitions including Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year, as well as acting in sketches for BBC Three and Pulped. As a director, Will has worked with a number of acts, including some of the best-reviewed shows of the Edinburgh Fringe 2023.
Will is one half of the double act Crizards, whose two live shows Cowboys (2022) and This Means War (2023) attracted considerable critical acclaim. Crizards have appeared on Dave’s Question Team, Sky News and the BBC, who filmed them singing a song to Gordon Ramsay (he didn’t like it). They were shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award and runners-up in the Leicester Square Theatre Sketch Off competition.
Neil O' Rourke
Neil O’Rourke is a regular in top comedy clubs around the UK and Ireland and has reached the finals of many comedy competitions, including Irish Comedian of the Year. He’s also done tour support for Jarlath Regan, Helen Bauer, and Tom Allen as well as being in the main case for Channel 4 miniseries The Artists.
"What he lacks in swagger - and possibly friends - he more than makes up in delightful punchlines and entertaining yarns" - Steve Bennett, Chortle.
