Barlow describes the weather and the fish found near the Equinoctial Line, including sharks. The ship runs short of provisions and he complains that sailors often have to buy their own food.
Barlow describes the weather at sea near the Equinoctial Line, and the fish of that region, including sharks. The ship runs short of water and food. Barlow complains that the owners of merchant ships often put the minimum of provisions on board, and the sailors have to buy food for which they are not repaid.
