The MONKE convoys some merchant ships near Heligoland. On return to Chatham Barlow receives nine months' pay (£10).
Barlow's ship departs for Holland, and convoys some merchant ships near Heligoland. They encounter very bad weather, and then return to Chatham. He receives nine months' pay (£10), which he sends to his master. The fleet starts to assemble to fight the Dutch, but the King does not allow his brother the Duke of York to take part for fear of losing him.
