Barlow reaches shore safely but has lost most of his money and clothes. The FFLORENTINE sinks on 23 October 1675.
Barlow reaches shore. Boatmen from Deal go out to see what can be salvaged from the ship, and Barlow's chest is saved. However the boatmen steal some of the sailors' property. The weather worsens and the FFLORENTINE sinks. Barlow has lost twenty pounds and some clothes.
