The ship returns to Portsmouth, where dishonest officers from the ROYAL CHARLES sell them items from their stores. They proceed to Malaga via Tangier, where they are told of a recent battle with the Moors.
The ship takes on a cargo of pipe hoops. They sail to Portsmouth, where they see the newly built ROYAL CHARLES and ROYAL JAMES. Dishonest officers on board the ROYAL CHARLES sell them ropes and powder from their stores. When they reach Tangier they are told of a recent battle with the Moors, in which the English were ambushed and outnumbered. The RONE FACTER proceeds to Malaga.
