The KENT encounters some Danish ships, at war with the Moors. They sail from Mumbai round the Cape of Good Hope to the Island of Ascension, where they load some turtles to eat.
Barlow describes the produce of the Islands of Ormus, Larrak and Kismass. The KENT encounters four Danish ships, the Danes being at war with the Moors. They call at Mumbai and then Thalassery, where their cable is broken in bad weather. From Calicut (Kozhikode) they sail round Cape Bonsprance (Cape of Good Hope) to Saint Helena. At the Island of Ascension they take on board some turtles, which Barlow does not like although they are nutritious.
