The RAINBOW calls in at Saint Helena. On the return voyage to England they see a comet near the Equator.
The RAINBOW steers round the Cape in bad weather and lands at Saint Helena. They hear news of the war between the Dutch and the French, and of problems in England caused by King James II's Catholicism. On the return voyage to England they see a comet. The ship springs a big leak in stormy weather.
