Photographs relating to cadet training ships, 1946-1957.

Photographic prints, mainly press agency copyright, showing cadets from the Girls' Nautical Training Corps (GNTC) on board the training ship FOUDROYANT ex HMS TRINCOMALEE (1817) at Portsmouth harbour. Some photographs show Lady Pamela Mountbatten, Corps Commandant of the GNTC, possibly taken on the occasion of her first visit to the FOUDROYANT on 18 August 1955. There is also a photograph showing cadets on the auxiliary ketch ENGLISH ROSE ex MARUNDA ex HELVETIA (1910) owned by Commander Claude L.A. Woollard.
