On board the hulk of the steamship Great Britain (1843) beached in Sparrow Cove, Falkland Islands. The photographer is standing on the starboard side of the upper deck just forward of the mainmast looking aft and slightly to port. The deck planking is in poor condition and the deckhouse is almost a shell. Most of the guardrails are still in position.
