Looking down into the hold on board the motor coasting vessel Sea Avon (1977) while berthed at a quayside in Busan (previously known as Pusan), South Korea. The photographer is standing on the starboard side of the vessel looking forward, slightly to port and down into the hold from the forward end of the poop. The hold's sliding hatches are open and a Korean dock worker is driving a yellow forklift truck in the hold, moving packages of plywood. A second Korean dock worker is standing next to the forklift, guiding the crates in the hold. Another dock worker is on the port side of the hold walking aft while two more are sitting down against the port side of the hold. A dock worker dressed in a blue hat, brown jacket and black trousers is standing on the starboard side of the deck looking down into the hold. A dock worker dressed in a blue hat, white shirt and black trousers is sitting near the open hatch on the starboard side just aft of the forecastle, holding the slings from a mobile crane. A red and white striped lighthouse on an island is on the left. A landmass with houses and hills are in the background beyond the lighthouse. This is Slide 2 of a lecture titled "World Wide Ship Delivery" given by Captain Henry P. Bird detailing his service as Chief Officer on board the motor coaster Sea Avon (1977) owned by Freight Express Seacon Ltd of London from 11 July 1977 to 9 September 1977.
