In these podcasts Royal Observatory Greenwich astronomer Radmila asks our visiting astrophysicists and space scientists about their career background, why they became an astrophysicist, why we should care about science and which unsolved mystery keeps them up at night.

Radmila talks to Dr Lucia Marchetti who is a researcher in the evolution of star-forming galaxies at the Open University.

She is an outreach coordinator for the International Year of Light 2015 initiative and in our Think Space Lecture she talked about the importance of light in astronomy and what different types of light tell us about the Universe.

Think Space Lectures run on monthly Tuesday evenings at the Peter Harrison Planetarium. Admission is free for schools, email RTopalovic@rmg.co.uk
